Refund Policy

At The Scholars’ Home, we strive to maintain transparency in our financial processes, including fee payments and refunds. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are granted, ensuring compliance with CBSE and Himachal Pradesh Government laws.

1. Applicability

1. Refundable Fee:

Security Deposit: The security amount paid during admission is refundable under specific conditions outlined below.

2. Non-Refundable Fees:

Registration Fees: Non-refundable under all circumstances.

Admission Fees: Non-refundable under all circumstances.

Tuition Fees: No partial or full refunds are allowed once the academic term has commenced.

Activity Fees/External Examination Fees: Non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation or withdrawal.

2. Security Refund Policy

1. Eligibility for Refund:

• The Security Deposit is refundable only at the time of withdrawal of admission and upon submission of a valid refund request.

• Refunds will be processed only if the withdrawal is requested after the completion of the academic year.

• No refunds will be provided for withdrawals requested mid-academic year.

2. Refund Process:

• Parents must initiate the refund request by sending an email to admissions@ps.tsh.edu.in, including:

• A formal request for admission withdrawal and refund of the security deposit.

• The original Security Slip issued at the time of admission.

3. Review and Approval:

• Refund requests will be reviewed and approved by the School Administration.

• Incomplete requests or requests without the required documents will not be processed.

4. Notification:

• Parents will be informed of the refund status through a telephonic call from the Accounts Office.

3. External Exam Fees

1. Fees paid for external examinations (e.g., CBSE Board examinations) are strictly non-refundable.

2. This policy applies regardless of cancellation, withdrawal, or non-participation.

4. General Refund Conditions

1. Refunds will be processed only via the mode of payment initially used (e.g., bank transfer, cheque).

2. The processing time for refunds is 15 business days from the date of approval.

3. No cash refunds will be provided.

5. Documentation Required

The following document is mandatory for processing the refund:

1. Original Security Slip issued at the time of admission.
